Intravenous (IV) therapy is a popular component of healthy living and wellness. By providing supplemental vitamins and micronutrients into the vein, this process will improve overall health and well-being. To break it down further, supplementation by IV route is shown to have faster and more efficient absorption compared to oral supplementation which has slower absorption because the digestive system has to be considered. Oral route of supplementation is broken down by stomach acids then passes through the liver and then finally ending in the bloodstream. The IV route bypasses this entire process.
