B-Complex: This complex of Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 provide multiple benefits to the human body. For example, B Vitamins are necessary to maintain proper function of the methylation cycle (body’s energy source), DNA synthesis (helps body fight disease/boosts immune system), and repair of phospholipids. These vitamins are also essential for healthy skin, hair, muscles, brain, and nerve function.
Glutathione: A combination of 3 amino acids that produces a powerful peptide that is essential to optimum health. It plays a significant role in detoxification of the body by eliminating toxic electrophilic molecules, reactive peroxides, and free radicals. All which are associated with increased aging of the body as well as chronic disease like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and neurodegenerative disease. (Is administrated separate from IV bag fluids.)
Magnesium: This mineral is involved in over 300 different processes within the human body. Plays vital roles in proper cardiovascular and neurological function. As well as helping maintain a healthy musculoskeletal system. It reduces muscle cramps and blood vessel spasming by preventing platelet aggregation. Provides alleviation from headaches, migraines, and chronic pain.
Vitamin C: An important antioxidant that promotes a healthy immune system response by the activation of leukocytes, production of interferon, and regulation of the inflammatory process. Increases natural energy levels, and supports a healthy nervous system. It is essential for collagen formation (e.g., connective tissue, cartilage, tooth dentin, skin, and bone matrix) and tissue repair.
Zinc: Second most abundant trace element in the human body. It is involved in the development of monocytes and macrophages; regulates macrophagic functions such as phagocytosis and the production of proinflammatory cytokines. Because of this, zinc is seen as a key anti-inflammatory agent in the human body, as well as helping boost immune system function. Zinc also helps support healthy skin by facilitating the proliferation as well as the survival of keratinocytes.
Glycine: This is an amino acid that’s involved in biosynthesis of creatine; which supplies all muscles with a source of fuel to repair damage and grow stronger. In result helping improve muscle strength, endurance and overall performance. Protects joints, ligaments, and tendon function by promoting collagen formation.
Lipo B Extreme: A combination of carbocyclic sugar, nutrients, amino acids, B-12 and B-complex vitamins. This combination increases the body’s metabolism to promote fat burn. It increases energy and improves heart and liver health.
NAD+: A cellular electron transporter, coenzyme, and signaling molecule that is essential for cell function and viability. Provides mitochondrial support, helping the body repair damaged DNA. Other benefits include decreasing chronic inflammation in the body, promoting healthy aging of the body, improving energy levels, slowing cognitive decline, and improving brain function.
Vitamin B-12: Also known as methylcobalamin; this water soluble vitamin is essential to growth, cell reproduction, hematopoiesis, and nucleoprotein and myelin synthesis. Vital component to red blood cell production, energy production, and metabolism.
Zofran: A selective 5-HT3 antagonist that is used to manage nausea and vomiting. When given intravenously it provides quick relief to help you get back to taking in nutrients and hydration.
Benadryl: While it’s commonly known for its antihistamine properties, it can also be used as a medication for nausea and vomiting. It can have synergistic effects with zofran or be used on its own. It can help with allergic reactions, cough, motion sickness and other ailments that are preventing you from performing at your best. Adding benadryl to your therapy can be helpful when taking it at home so that it can help you relax and get the rest you need to recover.
Toradol: Ibuprofen’s bigger brother, toradol is in the same nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug class as ibuprofen but provides stronger and quicker effects. It has been shown to provide the same pain relief as morphine without the risk of addiction or respiratory issues1. It is helpful for management of short term moderate to severe pain. It works within 1-2 mins when given intravenously and pain relief can last up to 4-6 hours. Once pain has been managed, fully resolved or significantly reduced, studies have shown that it is easier to manage.
Pepcid (Famotidine): An H2 Antagonist; this medication works as an antacid and antihistamine. Helps with a variety of gastrointestinal related symptoms like reflux and a sour stomach. This is also a great medication after a long night of drinking by helping to reduce the irritation of the lining of the stomach usually caused by alcohol ingestion.
